The Sonus Convertible Car Seat converts from a rear-facing car seat to a forward-facing seat as your child grows from infant to toddler. Evenflo recommends that parents utilize the rear-facing option for as long as possible. With this in mind, the Sonus Convertible Car Seat features a rear-facing weight rating of up to 40 pounds and a forward-facing weight rating of up to 50 pounds. There are also five shoulder harness positions to achieve a true extended fit option. Safety is Priority at Evenflo and that’s why we’ve developed the industry’s first Rollover Test. Each Sonus Convertible Car Seat is structurally tested for safety in the event of a rollover accident. In addition to rollover, the Sonus is also Side Impact Tested and meets or exceeds all applicable federal safety standards.
